So where are the tastes of the Great Taste Trail?

The Great Taste Trail is so named because of the diversity of the experience. You can get a ‘taste’ of the best bits of the whole region from riding the trail loop.

Riders can try the local wines, beer and food, and you also get a fabulous taste of the region’s towns, drink in the scenery, sample the beaches – sort of thing. Taste means all the different experiences, and there are many.

But … so … you may ask, where is the actual food and beverage?

There are four main sections of the Great Taste Trail loop, and each offers a slightly different vibe for food and beverage. From pretty much nothing in the more remote areas, to spoilt-for-choice in the towns.

Here’s out pick for food and beverage, arranged by trail section so you can plan your all-important re-fuelling stops. Some of these are right on the trail (marked *), and others up to a kilometre or two off the trail.
